This is a weird one. I ordered in the lobby and watched them work. The dough was thin and dried to the screens for about 3 hours it looked. No rise at all just a flat dried cracker crust. My first impression was really bad. However the pizza was tasty in a weird way.. I know they have been open for 35 years but I can’t imagine this was the pizza that built the business. It reminded me of a midwest tavern style. But I have serious doubts that was there intention. That being said I ate it all.
We were able to place an order 40+ minutes before they closed. Best pizza I’ve ever had HANDS-DOWN! I was also able to snag a nice toasted BLT on wheat that was extremely fresh and flavorful. The pizza has such a natural bite and is clearly homemade with every ingredients. We were scared off from the other pizza places in the area due to previously having bad experiences. But boy am I thankful that we took the risk because this place a HIDDEN GEM. The owner was such a nice and gentle soul as well. I look forward to stopping in again guys. Thanks so much!
Quaint quiet pizza place. It was refreshing ordering a veggie pizza ( no cheese ) that was the best I have ever tasted. They serve it as a thin crust pie topped with artichokes, Cole slaw, yellow & green peppers, tomatoes, onions, black olives. Maybe more but may have missed a few items.
Crunch to the bite & moist topping with lots of flavor.
I was passing thru for a few days but would be back there next time I am around.
